Because Deed Covenants prohibit garage sales in The Black Hills proper, Black Hills Portal created eGarage Sales – a community service for Black Hills residents to sell personal items online via a self-publishing account with real-time updates. Site submitted classifieds enjoy many of the benefits listed above, but these ads have to be reviewed, approved, posted on the site, changed, renewed, and/or deleted by the Black Hills Portal staff during regular business hours (Monday through Friday). The most convenient way for area residents to use BHPortal's classifieds is to become a BHPortal member and manage your ads yourself using BHPortal eGarage Sales.
