Investor Relations Manager, Christine Overton, of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce opened her interview with Gene Decker, of Golden, Colorado Black Hills Corporation offices, and Manager General Chemical Processes, with a follow-up description of the AENR (Agriculture, Energy, and Natural Resources) Committee on the 2nd series of public talks, to help inform and educate the public, to become partners with Agriculture, Energy, and Natural Resources, locally, nationally, and internationally.
Campbell County has an Energy Academy in Gillette, Wyoming. Wyoming is said to be the Energy Capitol of the World. Overton said, "Wyoming is very proud of everything that the state provides, not only for this country, but for other countries around the world." Additionally, Overton said, “During our meetings last year, the AENR Committee of the Chamber of Commerce had several people come and give talks about Agriculture, Energy, and Natural Resources. Relating to Energy, Gene Decker gave the presentation that you have just watched in 4 video segments, with accompanying written articles. The AENR Committee was so impressed, and those community people who attended the talks were so interested in the topics, the AENR Committee decided to have more public education talks, and invited Gene Decker to present his 'Mercury Control & Removal Talk' again."
Black Hills Corporation is dedicated to transparent education, responsibility to Campbell County, the environment, a partnership in working with the Chamber, and the community at large. Christine Overton said "the Chamber works very hard on behalf of all of their membership, and was very pleased to interview Gene Decker after his repeat presentation on 'Mercury Control & Removal.'”
In this interview, Christine Overton, Gillette Chamber, asked Gene Decker, Black Hills Corp, some interesting questions regarding his choice of company to work with, considering his life and career experiences; what would Decker say to high school students looking toward college and choosing careers; and how does he deal with stress.
