"EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR REUNION"
"Was in change of making arrangements for my ships reunion. I contacted the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce and in turn was contacted by the resort. They made our choices easy and lived up to everything we discussed. They were a bargain in the prices I received from the area and were excellant to deal with. Would recommend the Golden Hills Resort to everyone whether for a personal stay or for convention purposes. The staff was great and made us feel as if they cared."

"MY SECOND HOME"
I loved it here so much I changed my ongoing travel plans and went back there to stay out the rest of my trip .Some of the the staff in particular became a second family to me . I am making plans to return as soon as possible , I wish I had never left !

Limo Service - Great! Breakfast on Sunday was "OUT OF THIS WORLD!" I would stay here anytime and would recommend to my family and friends!"

"GOOD PLACE TO STAY”
Deadwood was full of gambling hotels which are not our scene so we opted to stay in Lead. The hotel was a good choice. It has good location at the top of the hill and has good parking. Our friends had a room next to the lift and opposite an ice machine. The noise was bad, so they asked to be moved and were given a much better room with no hassle.
Our first day we chose to eat breakfast out, thinking that the hotel would rip us off for a cooked breakfast. What a mistake! The breakfast in Deadwood was seriously bad, so next day we ate at the hotel and had an excellent, fresh cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price.
There was a PC in the lobby for guest use, some very comfortable leather sofas to lounge around on and, if we had wanted, a minibus into Deadwood for the casino.
