We hear comments from new advertisers on a regular basis telling us, “I sure wish I would have started advertising with you a year ago!” These comments come from Newcastle area businesses as well as our “out of town” advertisers. Why? Our listeners act upon the messages they hear on KASL! Our established advertisers comment, “I can’t imagine ever taking my sales messages off your station. Your rates are so low, and I always get a much bigger return than what I spend!” We live by the motto ‘Our only job is to make our advertisers more successful. If we can do that our business will take care of itself.’ We want to know the goals you have set for the success of your business. About our radio station, KASL is a locally owned and operated. We are the only radio station in Weston County that people can listen to for local events news and weather. We transmit at 1240 on the AM dial, 24 hours a day with 1000 watts of power. Our coverage area includes all of Weston County, large parts of Crook, Campbell and Niobrara counties in Wyoming. We are also heard in the southwest corner of South Dakota and the Northwest corner of Nebraska. Our demographics are strong with both genders and especially strong with men and women 25-48. We also have a strong audience from 35 on up who are attracted to our featured programs. Our Cume is 35,000 weekly listeners out of 65,000 potential listeners.
