What is Staging?
Home staging is the process of preparing a house whether it a model home, lived-in, or vacant home to be sold. This includes doing anything that helps a home seller make their home more attractive and appealing to potential buyers. The idea of staging is to invite buyers to come in and to see themselves living in the house and not the occupants. Staging also gives buyers the visualization of where furniture can go and how a room can be utilized to its full potential. The exact definition of what staging encompasses does vary, but typically, a home stager brings in furniture, artwork, plants, rugs and accessories to make a house look it's best while on the market. At Staging Impressions we will assist in consulting services which may include choosing paints, tiles, carpets, etc, and working with contractors to get the house ready.
Buyers have to be invited to step out of the car and want to see more, this begins with curb appeal. After walking in the door, most buyers make a decision about a house within 15 seconds. The first impression is the one that counts and lasts.
