An iPad App has been introduced by DIRECTV, according to WIREFREE USA, local DIRECTV provider in Rapid City and the Black Hills. This revolutionary iPad app will connect to and control network-connected DIRECTV HD or HD-DVR receivers. This app is available as a free download through the iPad App Store, and will make TV shows, movies and sports accessible through the IPad.
With this app, customers can create a personalized home screen by choosing exactly what they want to see. Other features include the ability to see programming or a 14-day guide without interrupting the show they’re currently watching on TV, and the ability to access their DVR playlist and schedule recordings on their DVR from anywhere.
WIREFREE USA states that more functionality for the DIRECTV iPad App is planned for the future.
